The embassy’s activities span a wide range of diplomatic efforts, including political dialogue, trade promotion, cultural exchange, and consular services.
Consular services provided by the embassy include issuing visas for those planning to visit Bolivia, assisting Bolivian citizens residing or traveling in the U.S., and dealing with matters pertaining to citizenship and international travel.
The embassy also actively engages in cultural diplomacy, by organizing and participating in events that aim to showcase Bolivian culture, heritage, and society to Americans. This includes art exhibitions, music and dance performances, and lectures on various topics related to Bolivia.
